Option 1: Train Street with embroidery & Lacquerware villages

8:00, tour guide and driver will welcome you in your hotel lobby, then start driving 30Km (an hour) to Embroidery Village, This village is famous for its traditional embroidery products. Walking around the village to visit some of the local workshops, and see how they create their beautiful pieces. But it is less locals doing now.
The choice: visiting an embroidery workshop for people with disabilities, children in her village are taught how to hold a needle when they are seven or eight years old. They will, first all of, have to get familiar with basic embroidery stiches like stem stich, long and short stich, satin stich, French knot, running stich, back stich and chain stich, etc., and simple patterns such as small flowers and leaves, before starting to learn more complicated ones.
Lacquerware village, locals create thousands of attractive products to meet the tastes and needs of domestic and foreign customers such as bowls, plates, flower pots, trays, canvas paintings, mosaic paintings…. The main materials are wood, bamboo, rattan, recently added new materials such as composite, ceramics… creating an abundance of products. In addition to inheriting the traditional experience from their ancestors, artisans in the village discover new colors with different shades. Craftmen know how to use engraving on paint to create soft, flexible and lively brush strokes.
The final stop on the itinerary is a delightful visit to the train street, where you’ll have 30 minutes to soak in the vibrant atmosphere and savor a cup of coffee.

Option 2: Train Street with ceramic village

8.00, tour guide will pick you up in your hotel lobby, then drive to Bat Trang ceramic village with 20Km away from the city center.
9.00, Arrival the village, our guide will take you walking around 4km to explore the area with small alleys and ancient houses. This place is known for its ceramics from 16 century until now, so you can visit some of the pottery workshops and watch craftmen are working.
After seeing the locals at work, you can purchase some souvenirs with a variety of items, including vases, bowls, plates, and other decorative items…..
If you have children, they can also try your hand at pottery-making by participating in a pottery workshop. This can be a fun and interactive way to experience the local culture.
10.30, leave this place to back Hanoi and the final stop on the itinerary is a delightful visit to the train street, where you’ll have 30 minutes to soak in the vibrant atmosphere and savor a cup of coffee.
